"The worst thing ever"

Films: P-51 Dragon Fighter (2014)

Alias: Various, notably Azuzaka

Type: Mystical

Location: Cave/Civilized Area/Desert

Height/Weight: That of average fighter jets.

Affiliation: Evil

Summary: Imagine if someone took the inherently awesome concept of dragons, and then proceeded to drain it of all of its awesomeness with one small detail. That being, making them the weapons of the Third Reich. They don't even deserve to be called dragons.

History: During the second World War, the Nazis discovered a cache of eggs belonging to dragons. They realized that by both raising the beasts from infancy and forging an alliance with the mystical Vril witches, they could control the dragons. Thus, the Skyward Dragon Corps was formed, and the idiotic fascists had a new army. But alas, the Allied Forces are not far behind, and the fight between freedom and fiery doom begins. Though little do the Nazis know, at least one male could spell disaster for all of mankind.

Notable Kills: For what it's worth, they don't like Nazis that much either.

Final Fate: After one of the Vril is revealed to be a spy, the Nazis unleash their largest male, Azuzaka, onto the heroes. He and all the other dragons perish in the last fight. And considering the hatchery got incinerated earlier, it's safe to say the Nazis are back to basics again.

Powers/Abilities: One male dragon can be an explosive breeder. They also have very durable hides.

Weakness: Heavy artillery.

Scariness Factor: 3-Fitting for such pitiful creatures, these dragons are rendered in very piss-poor CGI. But just imagine seeing a reptile with Nazi symbols painted on the wings, and tell me that wouldn't be the worst thing you’ve ever seen. Granted, it would probably be better if it looked even remotely real in the first place.

Trivia: -The Vril are derived from the Vril-ya, a supposed subterranean master race that were the focus of the 1871 novel "Vril, the Power of the Coming Race". As one might guess, it has an unfortunate amount of popularity amongst Nazi circles before and after the war.

-The animal symbol of the Nazis was not the dragon, but an eagle perched atop a swastika. There are some...disturbing unintended parallels between that and the U.S. on its worst days.

And the dragons would have won...had Nazis not been involved.

I don't care how cool you guys look! Those symbols gotta go!
"They do travel in herds."

"Just let me go home!"
